Login Changes to OASIS Submission System to Start Feb. 2010

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services will be changing the way that agencies login to the OASIS Submission System and CASPER Reporting. The change marks a shift from a shared login to individual accounts, according to the CMS.

The current state-assigned shared login ID will be dissolved and all agency users will have to register for a named individual user account ID. Every agency will be granted two individual logins. The change is being made to comply with CMS security regulations.

The programs will be implemented into different states on a rolling basis from Feb. 2010 to August 2010. When the security changes go into effect in each state, the current login information will no longer work.
