OASIS-C and Pressure Ulcers Quiz

Test your knowledge about OASIS-C and reporting pressure ulcers. A patient is admitted for treatment of congestive heart failure. Checking his past record, the RN learns that he received treatment for a Stage III ulcer two years ago. On admission, he has no wounds. He is discharged five weeks later with no further skin issues. Determine the response to these data elements at the specified time:

a. M1306, unhealed pressure ulcer Stage II or higher, at start of care

b. M1310, pressure ulcer width, M1312, pressure ulcer depth, and M1314, pressure ulcer depth, at start of care

c. M1350, skin lesion or open wound, receiving intervention by the home health agency, at start of care
